This series is about the 20th century Palestinian history. It focuses on the uprising against the British Mandate in 1936 and Zionist immigrants from Europe. Faris Bani Marwan (Men Behind Bars), Khalf al-Qudban, Ashwak Na’ima and Ahl al-Gharam are some of her other notable works.
Her most prominent works include Ru’aa Halima (Vision of a Dreamer), and the TV series al-Taghriba al-Filastiniyya (“The Palestinian Exile”) Ru’aa Halima is her portrayal of Jamila, a young, shy, and revolutionary girl from conservative Damascus in the 1970s. She wants to travel the world but is prevented by her strict father and the outdated society she lives in. In despair of her surroundings, her feminine awakening coincides in her national consciousness. She flees to Lebanon to join PLO forces following the 1982 Israeli invasion of Beirut.
In 2011, she married a Lebanese businessman with whom she had two children.

Nadine Salameh (Arabic : ndyn slm@ ; born August 9, 1979 in Beirut Lebanon), is a Palestinian actress who is well-known in Syria where she lived and worked most of her adult life.
Nabil Salameh, her father was an activist for the Palestine Liberation Organization. He was initially associated with Yasser Alafat’s Fatah movement. Later, he founded the more extreme Black September group. He disappeared during the 1982 Israeli intervention against Lebanon. Friends and family assumed that he had been captured by Israel. Since that time, when Nadine was just three years old, he has been missing.
The Lebanese Civil War caused her to go to Syria, with her mother and two sisters. In Damascus, she studied in the Department of Acting of the Higher Academy of Theatrical Arts. She also studied Law at the Damascus University and had a master’s degree in Political Sciences. She was mentored by some of Syria’s best known actors, including Naila Al Atrash, and Jihad Sa’d.
