She was a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab between 2002 and 2007, and again between May 2013 to May 2018.
Aziz was re-elected as a candidate of PML-N in Constituency PP-34 (Sargodha- VII), to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during the 2013 Pakistani general elections. She was defeated by Ansar Majeed Khan Niazi (PTI), a candidate for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
She was unsuccessful in her bid for the seat of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab. She was defeated by Rizwan Nowaiz Gil, a candidate for the Pakistan Muslim League (N), and received 16,723 votes.
