Myron Walwyn, born February 22, 1972, is the former Minister for Education and a Territorial at- Large Representative of British Virgin Islands. He was elected to the position of “at-large” in the 2011 British Virgin Islands general elections, receiving 4,605 votes, which was the 2nd most votes. He is a member the National Democratic Party (British Virgin Islands). He was the Chairman of British Virgin Islands Tourist Board before he was elected.

Walwyn was born in Road Town Tortola, and grew up in Freebottom. At the age of 14, Myron moved to Antigua, his mother’s home, to finish his secondary school education.

On 23 June, after Premier Orlando Smith announced he was stepping down, Walwyn was elected as the new President of the National Democratic Party, although Orlando Smith remained Premier. However he subsequently lost his seat in the 2019 general election.

Myron was elected to the Bar of England and Wales in 2007 and the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court Bar of 2007.
