Mykhailo Urytskyi is one of the most popular and richest Theatre Director who was born on June 3, 1965 in Simferopol, Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Ukraine. Mykhailo Iakovych Urytskyi, Ukrainian puppet theatre director, director of Kiev Municipal Academic Puppet Theater, and teacher at The Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko–Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, was born June 3, 1965.

Multiple winners of the theatre award “Kyiv Pectoral”, in the nominations for “Best Performance For Children” (2012, “Thumbelina”, 2016, “Why the long nose at an elephant”), Mykhailo Urytskyi. He was the first and only director to win in the Kyiv Pectoral’s main nominations.
