Muna Duzdar, born 22 August 1978, is an Austrian politician. From 2016 to 2017, she was the State secretary of the Austrian Federal Chancellery. She was the first Muslim to be appointed to a position in the Austrian Federal government on the 17th of May 2016.

Christian Kern, Chancellor of the Federal Chancellery, appointed Muna Duzdar as state secretary to the Federal Chancellery on 17 May 2016. He had previously assumed this position on 9 May 2016, after Werner Faymann had retired. She was responsible for “Administration and Public Service” and “Diversity and Digitalization” until 2017. After being discharged from her post as State secretary under the OVP-FPO government, she was elected to the National Council for the Social Democratic Party.

Duzdar began her political career as a Donaustadt district councillor in 2001. She was elected a member to the Federal Council in 2010. In 2010, she assumed the role of speaker for foreign policies for the Social Democratic Party. She also served on several Federal Council committees. Duzdar resigned from the Federal Council on 18 November 2012 and moved to Vienna. She was sworn into Karin Schrodl’s place at the Vienna on 19 November 2012.
