Muhammad Fneish is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on October 2, 1953 in Tyre, Lebanon. Fneish was the child of a Shia family, Maaroub, in 1953.
Fneish was the minister of Labour in the 2008 formed cabinet, which was again headed by Siniora.
Fneish was named Minister of Youth and Sports in the December 2016 cabinet. He ran in the 2018 parliamentary elections and won.
He was renamed in the January 2019 cabinet as Minister of Youth and Sports.

Muhammad Fneish, also known as mHmd Fnysh in Arabic (b. 1953), is a Shia Lebanese politician who is also a member of Hezbollah. He is the current Minister of Sports and Youth and represents Hezbollah within the Lebanese cabinet.
Fneish was a teacher before he became involved in politics. He was elected to the 15-member Hezbollah central committee. He was elected in 1992 as Bint Jbeil’s member of parliament for Hezbollah. In the 2000 and 1996 elections, he won the same seat. He ran again for the seat in 2005’s general elections. He received the highest number of votes in Tyre (154,056 votes), surpassing Nabih Berrie by approximately 1,000 votes. From July 2005 to November 2006, he was energy minister. He was a Tyre municipal council member before he was appointed energy minister.
In the 2009 Lebanese general elections, Fneish won again a seat from Tyre as part of the 8 March alliance list. Then, he was appointed state minister for administrative reform in the cabinet of Saad Hariri, being one of two Hezbollah-backed ministers. The other Hezbollah minister in Hariri’s cabinet was Hussein Al Hajj, in charge of agriculture ministry.
