Martyn Bernard “Moochie” Norris, born July 27, 1973, is an American former professional basketball athlete who played in several seasons of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and other leagues.

The New Orleans Hornets placed Norris on waivers after the 2006 NBA season. In January 2007, he joined the Yakama Sun Kings in the Continental Basketball Association. He played from March to June 2007 for Climamio Bologna, but returned to the Sun Kings in November to lead the league in assists.

Norris suffered from insomnia for years, starting early in his career. Norris was well-known for his long, thick hair. He had a bobblehead figurine made of him (with a synthetic afro) while he was playing with the Houston Rockets in 2002.

Norris was a journeyman who played collegiately at Odessa College, which is a junior college, from 1992 to 1994, at Auburn University (1994-1995), and at the University of West Florida (1995-1996). The Milwaukee Bucks drafted him with the 33rd overall selection (4th in the second round) in the 1996 NBA draft. He didn’t play for the Bucks, and was released by them on November 22 1996. He signed with the Vancouver Grizzlies on December 12 as a free agent. He played for them until December 30, when he was released. After a brief break (1997-98), he was back in the NBA, where he played until the 2005-06 season, when he joined the Houston Rockets, Seattle SuperSonics, New York Knicks, New Orleans Hornets, and New York Knicks.

He was a member of Petrox, Talcahuano in Chile, October 1998.
