Mohsin Raza is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on January 15, 1968 in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, India. Raza was born on 15 January 1968 in Unnao, the city of Uttar Pradesh state. Raza is from a clan of zamindars, or lanterns, whose roots can be traced back to Sufis Safipur. He is the son late Syed Jina Raza Naqvi. Father Jina was a man of extraordinary perseverance Raza is Shia Muslim by faith. Fauzia Sarwar Fatima, his wife (m.2001), is the daughter of a time-honoured Businessman and belongs to a Sunni family. Fauzia was posted as an Administrative Officer at Kenwooddate=April 2020}. Fauzia’s wife ran for Safipur local elections. He is the father of Ali Zafir Mohsin, and Yumn Zehra Mohsin.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the inspiration for his political career. Raza joined the Bharatiya Janata Party prior to the 2014 Indian general elections and was appointed spokesperson for the party in 2015. The Bharatiya Janata Party won the 2017 Assembly election with Yogi Adityanath as chief minister. In each of the 403 constituencies, no Muslim candidate was fielded by the party. He was appointed Minister of State, and given the portfolios Science & Technology, Information Technology & Electronics and Muslim Waqf. He also became the only Muslim to serve in the Yogi Adityanath ministry. Raza was not a member either of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly nor Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council so he had to be elected within six months.

Raza says It is the poor who deserve government subsidy for Haj pilgrimage, not the affluent Muslims, He added that it would be his priority to ensure ‘deserving Muslims’ get Haj subsidy. “We will only let jayaz (deserving) persons, who don’t have means to go on their own, to go. If a person is a multi-millionaire he should not make the pilgrimage on government money. We are reviewing the rules and will announce a decision soon.”

Raza is a Muslim by faith. He comes from a family that descends from landowners and traces its roots back to Sufis Safipur. He represented Uttar Pradesh at the Ranji Trophy. He was also an actor and model, and was also named Prince Lucknow in 1995. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2013 and was made its spokesperson. After the party’s victory at the 2017 Assembly election in Uttar Pradesh, he was elected Minister of State. He was given the portfolios Science & Technology, Information Technology & Electronics and Muslim Waqf. The Amethi Genral Election 2019 saw a historic victory for Smriti Zurbin Irani as the & Incharge Amethi Raza. Raza was appointed Minister of State for Minority Welfare and Muslim Waqf & Hajj on August 2019, the date of the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Reshuffle.
