The documentary was nominated to the International Film Festival Amsterdam, IDFA for the “First Appearance Award” and the “Golden Key” (Kasseler Dokumentarfilm- & Videofest). The film won the “Best Documentary Award” at the DaKINO International Film Festival in Budapest. He was a member of the panel for the Human-Rights-Film-Award in 2008, and is an active member of the “Arbeitsgemeinschaft Dokumentarfilm” (AG DOK). He is a pioneer in the field of brave new work and is located in Hamburg. There is also a branch in Munich.
