He was trained at Sud Ecriture, Tunis’s writing workshop. In 2005, he started writing and directing short fiction films. His first film was Romantisme: deux comprimes matin-et soir. In 2006, he produced his second short film: Comme les autres (Kif Lokhrim). After Mouja was unveiled at Carthage Film Festival 2010, and was selected at CinemAfrica 2011, in Stockholm, he directed Loi 76 (2011). He then directed Selma (2013).
