MK Preshow Shimray and Victor Keishing, the 44-Phungyar MLA constituency MLA (son of Rishang Keishing), were also declared anti-social by the Tangkhul frontal organizations for not submitting their resignation letters.
The cavalcade of deputy speakers was attacked near Ukhrul on April 30, 2013 by suspected NSCN cadres. However, no casualties were reported. Some rebel groups in the vicinity of Litan made a second attempt on his life on April 9, 2014. However, he managed to escape unharmed.
