He was awarded the 2013 international award by the European Association of Tourist Journalists, as well as the “Kapetan Misa Anastasijevic” award for his contributions to the development of entrepreneurship and Serbia. The Provincial Secretariat for Labour, Employment and Gender Equality was awarded the “Prvomajska” award by the Council of Autonomous Trade Unions of Novi Sad and municipalities. Two projects in the area of gender equality were also proclaimed the best in the region, respectively, by the United Nations and European Commission. The Secretariat was awarded international awards in the fields of economy and tourism.
He was the Provincial Secretary for Labour, Employment and Gender Equality from 2008 to 2012. He has held the position of Provincial Secretary for Economy, Employment and Gender Equality since 2012.

Miroslav Vasin (Serbian Cyrillic name: Miroslav Vasin) was born in 1955 and is a Serbian politician. He is Vice President of the Government of Vojvodina, and President of the Provincial Committee of the Democratic Party of Vojvodina.
Between 1979 and 1981, he was a clerk in Fadip from Becej; from 1981 to 1990, he was a director for Hins from Novi Sad. He was the Assistant Managing Direct at “Albus JSC” Novi Sad during the 1990-2002 period. He was the assistant to the Provincial Secretary at the Provincial Secretariat of Labour, Employment and Gender Equality, from 2002 to 2008. In the period 1991-1995, he was the President of the Steering Committee of Alba JSC, the Judge of the Court of Honour of the Chamber of Commerce of SFRY and a member of the Employment Council of the Republic of Serbia. He is also a member of the Council for Protection at Work of the Republic of Serbia. He was the President of Social and Economic Council of Government of Vojvodina for two terms. He was also a member of Council for Refugees, Exiles and Displaced Persons. He is also a member the Headquarters for Emergency Situations.
