She has presented many programmes on diving since 2000. Water Warriors was a Carlton children’s production that explored the marine environment. Krestovnikoff was then a pet expert on children’s TV show SMILE and the Channel 4 series Wreck Detectives in 2003-04. Krestovnikoff also presented Hidden Treasure, a BBC2 series that continued the history/archaeology theme. The UKTV History/Anglia Television production Time Trail was a major project that took place in summer 2004. It focused on East Anglian history.

Krestovnikoff is a keen supporter of conservation charities and lists several on her personal website, including the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust and Ape Action Africa. In October 2013 she was elected President of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, taking over from Kate Humble.
