Min is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on June 21, 1991 in Hanoi, Vietnam. Min was born in Seoul on June 21, 1991. As part of Eolleong Ddungddang, she participated in BoBoBo (the Korean Sesame Street version) at a young age. She formed a dance duo with Hyoyeon, a member of Girls’ Generation, at 13 years old. Min auditioned to JYP Entertainment in 6th grade. After one year of training, Min was sent to America to prepare for her U.S. debut. She studied at the Repertory Company High School For Theatre Arts in Manhattan.
Min made her South Korean debut as Miss A’s four-member girl group Miss A. She released Bad Girl Good Girl, the first single from their debut album Bad But Good, on July 1, 2010. This song remains their most successful and renowned to date. Min was reported to have left the group in November 2017 after her contract with JYP Entertainment ended.
It was revealed in September 2016 that Min will be making her return to the big screen with the movie Sooni: The Executioner’s Daughter. The film promises a thrilling mystery set in a quiet village where an inquisitive detective investigates the motives behind multiple unsolved murders and the presence of a mysterious girl named “Sooni”. Based on actual events, the film seeks to spread awareness about child abuse, as the actors hope to prevent such tragedies through their performances. It was originally planned for a Summer 2017 release in South Korea but will be delayed till late Spring of 2019.
In August 2016, Min collaborated with childhood friends Hyoyeon of Girls’ Generation and Jo Kwon of 2AM to form the co-ed project group Triple T. The trio released their debut single titled Born to be Wild, featuring Park Jin- young, as part of S.M. Entertainment’s ongoing weekly Station music project.
Min teamed up with San E to record his debut single Tasty San after Miss A’s official promotions for Bad Girl Good Girl ended. She was there to support him as he performed on the September music shows. Min was selected to take part in the G20 Seoul Summit, which was held November 2010. For the theme song, Min was selected to sing alongside 20 different idols, including BEAST, MBLAQ, Girls’ Generation and BEAST. Each participant recorded the chorus separately over two days. The other day, all participants were able to come together for the recording. The song, Let’s Go was released on a variety of online music charts in October 2010.
