Milan Rastavac is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Manager who was born on November 1, 1973 in Vršac, Serbia. Milan “Mima”, also known as Milan Mima, is a former Serbian player and football manager. He is currently the manager of Asteras Tripolis, a Greek football club.
He was inspired to create practical implementation programs and managed the Serbian women’s under-19 football team. They won the historic point of the elite round for Euro qualification in 2011. They reached the EURO finals U19 for the first time in Serbia’s WU19 history. Serbia WU19 was the highest scoring team in Euro qualification 2013 with over 6 goals per match.
In 2014, he worked as Assistant Coach at Vojvodina(Serbia) with Zoran Marić. During first semi season Vojvodina achieved the best season start in 100 years club history.
In December 2015 he started to work as the head coach of the Serbia U23 national team. In a friendly match against Qatar Serbia has won 3:0.
He began his career with the Football Association of Serbia in 2006 as an instructor for the U12-16 age group. He remained there until 2013. He was the head of instructor service and one of the founders of various programs for different age groups in FA Serbia. He was appointed a lecturer in 2007 at the UEFA coaching school in Serbia. He was a member of the FA Serbia expert committee from 2013 to 2014.

Rastavac began his playing career with the Vojvodina youth team. His greatest successes came in 1988-1989 during his playing career. He was a member of the Yugoslavia U16 team, with Mirko Jozic serving as his head coach. He was a member of the FC Vojvodina U19 club, which was the champion in SFR Yugoslavia. Ilija Pantelic was his head coach. After one season at Dinamo Pancevo he was transferred to club Mladost Jarak, member of the Serbia and Montenegro premier league. He ended his professional career in 1999 at the age 26.
Rastavac began his coaching career in Al-Nasr Benghazi as a coach assistant with Todor Veselinovic, who was the head coach. In Novi Sad, he was a youth coach for five years. He worked with various age groups (U15-U19) over a five year period. He won the Region Vojvodina Cup with Novi Sad’s U17 team in 2004-2005.
In 2013, he worked as Assistant Coach at Olimpija Ljubljana(Slovenia) with Milorad Kosanović.
