Milan Luthria is one of the most popular and richest Film Director who was born on January 28, 1968 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Luthria began his career in 1993 as an assistant director to Dharmesh Dashan for Lootere. In 1999, he made his directorial debut with Kachche Dhaage, an action thriller film. Ajay Devgan played the role of a border smuggler at the Rajasthan-Kashmir, Pakistan border. He was being chased by the Border Security Force, Central Bureau of Investigation and the border mafia. Luthria shot this film in Rajasthan, Switzerland. It received mixed reviews. The film’s photography was well-received, with its stunning backdrop of Rajasthani desert, green valleys, and snow-capped peaks in Switzerland. However, it was not as popular as Soldier, which had a similar theme and was released last year.

Luthria was the director of Hattrick, a comedy about cricket that starred Paresh Rawal and Rimi Sen. He is only released 33 years later by his son on a rescue mission. Although the film was widely criticized by critics, it was a commercial success and reached number one in the Indian movie charts within the first week. Film4 described the film as a Bollywood thriller that contained lots of action but fails to bring it to life. The plotting is predictable, the characters are bland, and the storyline is not engaging.
