Mil Hanna is one of the most popular and richest Australian Rules Footballer who was born on April 5, 1966 in Lebanon. Milham Hanna, born 5 April 1966, is an Australian rules footballer who is best remembered for his playing career at the Carlton Football Club during the 1980s and 90s.
Hanna was nicknamed The Cranium after his clean-shaven head due to alopecia, or simply Mil. Hanna is a notable player who was born in Lebanese and played in the Victorian Football League/Australian Football League’s history (VFL/AFL). Hanna was the first AFL player of Lebanese heritage until Bachar Houli’s debut in 2007.
After being delisted, he trained alongside Richmond but was unable be drafted due to Richmond being prohibited from participating in 1998 pre-season draft. This was due to Richmond exceeding the 1997 salary cap.

Hanna made his senior-level playing debut in 1986. However, he ruptured his anteriorcruciate ligament during the first game. After almost a year of rehabilitation, he was largely injury-free during his career at Carlton.
Hanna was a part of two AFL Grand Finals for Carlton, one in 1993 with the losing side and another in 1995 with Carlton’s premiership-winning squad. In 1992, he was named to the All-Australian team.
Hanna was inducted into Carlton’s Hall of Fame in 2016.
