Mike Homik is one of the most popular and richest Basketball Player who was born on July 6, 1978 in Hamilton, New Zealand. Michael Homik, a former New Zealand basketball player was born 6 July 1978. He was a member of the National Basketball League (NBL), where he played for 14 seasons and won four championships. He was also a Tall Blacks player and won a silver at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Homik signed with the Manawatu Jets for the 2011 New Zealand NBL Season. After breaking his left ankle, Homik played only two games. He returned to the Jets in 2012 after sustaining a broken left ankle.
In April 2015, Homik had a one-game stint with the Manawatu Jets to help them deal with numerous injuries.
Off the basketball court, Homik has been a stunt man in films such as The Hobbit as well as various television commercials. In 2016, Homik played the role of a villain in the Bollywood film Mohenjo Daro starring Hrithik Roshan.
Homik was a Harbour Heat player in the New Zealand NBL Season 2006. The next four NBL seasons saw Homik play for the Harbour Heat. He also won championships in 2008/09. He also played in the Australian NBL with the Perth Wildcats during 2007/08.

Homik made his debut in 1996 for the Waikato Warriors in the NBL. Before moving to the United States, he played seven games in 1996 and 1997. After playing two seasons of college basketball at West Valley College, he transferred to Albertson College of Idaho.
Homik was able to return from the United States and join the Auckland Stars in 2003. For their first season in the Australian NBL, Homik joined the New Zealand Breakers in 2003/04. He was part of the Stars’ back to back championship teams in 2004 and 2005.
For the 2013 New Zealand NBL season, Homik played for the Wellington Saints.
