Mike Andersen is one of the most popular and richest Songwriter who was born on February 25, 1977 in Rødekro, Region of Southern Denmark, Denmark. Andersen met Otis Grand, a blues guitarist at the age of 20. Otis and his six-piece band perfectly captured the music Mike had been listening to all his life. Grand invited Andersen, then a young man, to one of his major shows. There he played as a guitarist in The Otis Grand All Star Revue at The Great British R & B Festival’ in Colne. Andersen was determined to start his own six-piece blues and soul group when he returned to Denmark.

While Andersen worked with many local and international musicians in Denmark, the latter half of the decade was spent creating a new CD that showcased his band’s new sound. After two years of work, echoes was finally released in

2010. The music editor at Politiken, the country’s second-largest newspaper, hailed Andersen as “an original interpretation of the old characteristics”. GAFFA, the Danish publisher of music news for nearly thirty years, wrote that echos was “his best.” Perhaps because . . . He dares mix his love for and enjoyment of blues and his passion for soul music. The new CD was named Album of the Week by DR P4, the country’s top pop radio station. Peter Widmer, a music journalist, wrote about Mike Andersen’s “evolving voice” in Odense Music Library’s News. Andersen began to play the blues in Aarhus’ soul and blues scene. His ‘Blues Crew’ band soon caught the attention of more experienced Danish musicians. He soon formed “The Mike Andersen Band”, whose first album, My Love for the Blues, was released in 2002. It was one of the most memorable Danish blues albums of the past 15 years. His career has been marked by this uncompromising, relentless attitude. Tomorrow, a major studio album, was released in 2004, and The Mike Andersen Band EP was released in 2006. This was followed by hundreds of concerts all over Europe. They were also the opening act for The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and three times for B.B. King.
