Michel Elefteriades is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on June 22, 1970 in Beirut, Beirut Governorate, Lebanon. Michel Elefteriades, (Arabic: myshl’lftryds, Greek: Mikhael Elutheriades) was born 22 June 1970. He is a Greek-Lebanese politician and artist, producer, and entrepreneur. His unorthodox views and beliefs are well-known in the Arab world. They have caused controversy and elicited passionate responses from both his supporters and his detractors.

His paintings have been shown at numerous collective exhibitions in France and Germany. He presented The Wailing Wall, an art piece measuring 10x2m, to the Salon des Artistes Decorateurs in 1995. This special edition took place in Beirut Central District, instead of its usual location at Paris’ Grand Palais. The show caused so much controversy that special protection was required.

In 2003, Elefteriades founded the “Beirut Music Hall”, an 800-seat venue specializing in a unique concept that made it a night-clubbing destination in the Middle East.

In spring 2005, Elefteriades co-organized a concert in Beirut, presenting some of the biggest names in Lebanese music: Nancy Ajram, Wadih El Safi, Myriam Fares, Ramy Ayach, Marwan Khoury, Amal Hijazi The entire proceeds of the event were forwarded, through the United Nations, to the southeast Asia tsunami victims. That same year he organized a free concert by the National Orchestra of “Nowheristan” at the UNESCO Palace, in collaboration with the United Nations, to celebrate the International Day of Peace.

Elefteriades was the victim of two assassinations during this time. His car was destroyed by a booby trap; his second attempt at assassination targeted him in an armed ambush. From 1994 to 1997, he left Lebanon and lived in France and Cuba.

Elefteriades began political activism at the age of 15 Growing up in eastern Beirut, he was a left-wing militant. Elefteriades entrusted himself in 1989 to the political movements of General Michel Aoun, then Lebanese Prime Minster.

In 1999, Elefteriades founded the “Mediterraneo Byblos International Festival”, and was its director from 1999 to 2003. He wrote, composed and directed the 2004 “The Journey of Four Songs”, a musical for the Baalbeck International Festival.
