Snaer was not drafted in the 2013 NBA Draft. After stints in summer league with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers, and refusing an invitation to join the Brooklyn Nets camp for the 2013 NBA draft, Snaer signed for Enel Brindisi, Italy’s top league. He signed in 2013 with the Russian team Ural Yekaterinburg. He left Ural on December 2, 2014.

Snaer was a top player in the Atlantic Coast Conference during his junior season. Snaer averaged 14.0 points per match, leading the team. He also led the Seminoles’ first ACC tournament title. Unofficially, he was the nation’s leader in buzzer beaters. He hit three pointers that secured victories over Duke (and Virginia Tech) during the season. Snaer averaged 18 point per game during the 2012 ACC Tournament. He was also named tournament MVP. Snaer was second team All-ACC for the regular season and was selected to the conference All-Defensive Team. Snaer was held scoreless in the NCAA tournament against St. Bonaventure, his first round opponent. Cincinnati defeated the Seminoles in round 2.
