Michael Anthony Schachtner, born November 19, 1986, is an American professional basketball player. He last played for the Maine Red Claws in the NBA Development League. Before being undrafted in 2009, the forward of 6’9″ played college basketball at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
Schachtner was a Somerset High School student from Somerset, Wisconsin. He played for Eric Olson as a player and was named Middle Border Conference Player-of-the Year twice. He averaged 21.4 points per game and 10.0 rebounds as a senior in 2004-05. He was awarded second-team All-State honors by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel/WBCA and All-Northwest Wisconsin first-team recognitions.
In August 2010, Schachtner signed with CSM Oradea of Romania for the 2010–11 season.
