Les Fradkin approached Bellusci in 2009 to play drums for the Edison Lighthouse, a newly formed version. The purpose of this tour was to record and promote their music. The project did not produce any music nor live dates.

Bellusci, Smith were both part of a variety of cover bands that lasted from 1976 to 1980. Smith and Bellusci founded the Jazz/Rock/Fusion band Get With It in 1980. Although they had some success in 1981, the band did not receive a record deal despite having a large following in New York. Smith joined Danger Danger after Get With It had disbanded at the end of 1986.
Bellusci formed a band with local musicians in 1987 and started playing electronic drums at Blossoms, a Bayside bar. Mark “Farquar” Vaccacio was one of those musicians. He played John Lennon in The Broadway Cast Of Beatlemania. Les Fradkin, the original George Harrison of Broadway, and Don Linares (who played Paul McCartney), were also Beatlemania alumni. Bellusci was chosen to play the role of Ringo in the touring cast of The Conglomowitz while he was still with them. Bellusci performed on this show for more than a decade, while also performing as Ringo in Strawberry Fields, a Beatles Tribute Band based out of New York City.
As of July 4, 2013, Bellusci has reprised his role as Ringo Starr with Strawberry Fields. He has played drums in an Off-Broadway Musical Comedy “Cougar The Musical” at St. Luke’s Theater in New York City, and subbed on drums with The Big Apple Circus in 2017.
