Absalom is now a freelance sports commentator and reporter for BBC Sport, Eurosport Star Sports, Sky Sports, and most recently BT Sport.
Absalom first appeared on the CBBC Channel as the weatherman in 2002. His popularity soon made him a regular presenter in studios. He was also a frequent guest on BBC Two and BBC One.
Absalom joined the Eurosport Alpine Ski World Cup commentary team at the start of the 2006/07 season, working alongside John Clark.
