Melissa Ferlaak is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on April 26, 1979 in Minneapolis, United States. Melissa Marie Ferlaak, a Cottage Grove, Minnesota-based soprano, was born April 26, 1979. Her best-known role is that of a former singer of the symphonic metal band Aesma Daeva and Visions of Atlantis. Her female-fronted doom/death band Plague of Stars, and the ambient band MY Eternel are her current singing roles. She also wrote and sang the vocal parts and libretto for the opera Demandolx The First Chapter Of Convent Demonic Possession. She has appeared in guest appearances with many other bands, including Ad Inferna and Therion, Withering Soul and Azure Emote.

Plague of Stars was founded by Melissa in 2012, along with Aaron Lanik (We Are Legion) and Timothy Morton (Platgue of Stars). In 2015, the quartet released “When Morning Came”, their first album.

In April 2014 “Ancient Rites of the Moon”, the first album of the Stardust Reverie Project (Graham Bonnet, Zak Stevens and Lynn Meredith among others) was released. It features Melissa in three songs. “Daughter of the Sun” , a tune based in an old Cherokee tale, was highly praised by the media.

In June 2015, ‘Demandolx: The First Chapter of Convent Demonic Possession’ was completed in which she wrote the libretto and vocal parts for this new “Avante-Garde Nihilist Opera.” Additionally, she sang the role of Madeleine on the recording of the work.

After Suvi Virtanen, their original singer, left, Melissa joined the Minneapolis band Echoterra in late 2009. The band recorded “In Your Eyes”, their new EP, with Melissa in Echoterra. It was released in January 2009 with newly remastered tracks. They also began performing regularly. Blinding Force Recordings released “Land of The Midnight Sun” in 2011. Due to creative and personal differences, Melissa quit Echoterra on March 13, 2012.

Melissa Ferlaak started her musical career in 2001 when she joined the American symphonic rock band Aesma Deva. She has played in Canada, Mexico, and the US. She has recorded three albums with Aesma Deva: The Eros of Frigid Beauty and The New Athens Ethos. The band announced on October 11, 2005 that Melissa Ferlaak would be joining the Austrian band Visions of Atlantis. Her last show with Aesma daeva was December 2005 at Star Central in Minnesota. The concert was recorded for “Last Rites,” a DVD that was released in March 2007.

Napalm Records contacted Melissa in 2005 to invite her to join the Austrian symphonic metal band Visions of Atlantis. Vision of Atlantis performed a brief European tour in 2006-2007 with Xandria. The band recorded Trinity, their third new album, with Melissa. They then began a short European tour through Europe, China and the U.S. on November 28, 2007.

In March 2013, Melissa started making music with VoA Voxyd from Ad Inferna. The two began a new project MY Eternel, releasing “Pursuit of a Higher Throne” in 2013.
