Meenakshi Seshadri is one of the most popular and richest Actor who was born on November 16, 1963 in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. Meenakshi (born 16th November 1963) was an Indian actress, model, and dancer. She primarily appeared in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films. At the age of 17, she won the Eve’s Weekly Miss India contest.

Seshadri was a part of many critically acclaimed films from 1986. She played the role of Swati, a film about art house that was primarily geared towards women, and she also acted in an ensemble cast. It received immense critical acclaim. Critics said that Meenakshi Seshadri acted in Swati in the same way Amitabh Bachchan does in his films. She also appeared in Dahleez, a romantic drama that dealt with infidelity. However, it was not a hit at the box office. Dilwaala, Allah Rakha and other films she released that year were not as successful at the box-office. Inaam Dus Hazarar was her breakout film in 1987. She worked with fellow dancer Mithun Chakraborthy in Aandhi Toofan, Main Balwan, Dilwaala, Parivaar, Bees Saal Baad, Pyar Ka Karz, and Shandaar. Her best and most successful pairing, as well as best on-screen her chemistry, is regarded to be with Anil Kapoor. Her pairings with Shroff, Rishi Kapoor, Sunny Deol, and Vinod Khanna are often also praised by the media. That same year, Ramesh Sippy announced Laadla with Amitabh Bachchan and Seshadri.

In 1990, Seshadri appeared in two films by Mahesh Bhatt, the first being Awaargi, an art house film. Many critics call this her best performance. The second film was Jurm, released in the same year. The film was a critical and commercial success. Her role of a wife who has to face her problems after her husband gets involved with another woman gained immense critical praise. She received her first Filmfare Award nomination for best actress for her role in the film. She also appeared in the film Ghar Ho To Aisa opposite Anil Kapoor; the film was a hit and Seshadri was noted for her comedic timing.

Seshadri was the daughter of Shashikala Seshadri and was born in Sindri (Jharkhand) as Shashikala Seshadri. Under Jaya Rama Rao and Vempati Chinna Sityam, she was trained in four Indian classical dance forms: Kathak, Kuchipudi and Kathak. At 17 years old, she won Eve’s Weekly Miss India 1981 contest and represented India at Miss International 1981 in Tokyo.
