Masashi Takeda is one of the most popular and richest Professional Wrestler who was born on August 13, 1985 in Machida, Japan. Masashi Takeda (Zhu Tian Cheng Zhi, Takeda Masashi born 13 August 1985) is a Japanese professional wrestler and mixed martial artist predominantly involved with Big Japan Pro Wrestling (BJW) in the Deathmatch division. He is currently the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Champion during his debut reign. Takeda also wrestles at Freedoms infrequently All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) as freelancer.

In the beginning of 2011 Takeda was a participant at an event called the Ikkitosen Death Survival Tournament, winning as the top player in his division, scoring 6 points, however he lost in the final to Takashi Sasaki at the end. Takeda was given his third chance to compete at the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship in February of 2012, and lost against Abdullah Kobayashi in an Open Finger Spike Nail Gloves Deathmatch. Takeda was the first wrestler to make his debut outside Japan in June 2013 defeating Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)’s Drake Younger in a finals match in Germany. Takeda failed to challenge to an opportunity to win the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight title for the third time in June, but lost against Shuji Ishikawa. Then, in February of 2014, on with his bike, Takeda got into an accident that injured his ankle and causing four months in action. He returned to his match on June 14 and lost against Danny Havoc in the first round of the 2014 Tournament Of Death for CZW in the United States. Takeda was given his 5th chance during the Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship in August and lost in the final to Yuko Miyamoto. In the beginning of the year of 2015 Takeda was a participant in another Ikkitosen Survival Tournament, finishing first in his block, scoring 8 points, but falling against Abdullah Kobayashi in the final. On August 19, 2017, Takeda defeated Masaya Takahashi to take home the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his professional career.

In May of 2016, Takeda began making appearances for All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW). The 25th of May, Takeda unsuccessfully challenged Atsushi Aoki to his World Junior Heavyweight Championship. On August 15, Takeda had his most significant victory on the card in All Japan to date when He teamed up together with Nextream (Jake Lee, and Ace in AJPW Kento Miyahara) to take on Evolution (Suwama Aoki and Suwama Aoki) as well as Super Tiger. On the 15th of October, Takeda and Atsushi Maruyama unsuccessfully fought Evolution (Aoki as well as Hikaru Sato) to win The All Asia Tag Team Championship.

When he was in the junior year of high school Takeda was introduced to mixed martial art and deathmatch. He became an avid fan of both. After finishing high school, Takeda enrolled in the U-File Camp, training for the profession of MMA. After receiving some pro-wrestling instruction under the guidance of Jun Kasai, Takeda debuted as a wrestler with Style-E beginning in the month of January.

Takeda made his debut in BJW on the 23rd of May 2008, partnering with Kankuro Hoshino, who lost in the final to Craig Classic and Masada. In October of the same year the Japanese wrestler took part in his first deathmatch pairing up together with Shuji Ishikawa, and Ryuji Ito, who lost in the final to Saboru Inematsu Jaki Numazawa as well as his coach Jun Kasai. In the early part of 2009 Takeda joined forces along with Isami Kodaka in the Maximum Tag League, winning his first deathmatch on the 26th of March the 26th, when Kodaka and Takeda were able to defeat Numazawa as well as Kasai. The pair were first in their block, scoring 6 points, which allowed them to make it into the semi- finals, where they beat Block A runners-up Ryuji Ito and Shuji Ishikawa. In the final match, Takeda and Kodaka took on Takashi Sasaki, and Yuko Miyamoto during a Fluorescent Lighttubes Tower of Death Match, but they defeated them in overtime and became champions of the future BJW Tag Team Champions. Takeda and Kodaka retained the title until July before they lost the title in the finals to Daisuke Sekimoto, and Yuji Okabayashi for their first defense. The is the month that Takeda took home the D-Dash Tournament beating Shinya Ishikawa to win the title. He also unsuccessfully fought Yuko Miyamoto to win his BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship , in a deathmatch on a scaffold. The month of December saw Takeda joined forces with Takuma Obe to compete in The D-Dash Tag Tournament, making it to the semi-finals but getting eliminated Ryuichi Kawakami, and Shinya Ishikawa. Takeda was back in the fight in an opportunity to win the Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship in July 2010, but this time he lost against Ryuji Ito during a glass-and-fluorescent light tubes deathmatch.
