Hanna participated in the 2000, 1996 2004, 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Olympics. The year 1996 was her best, as she placed 24th in the individual event. The following year, she placed thirty-fourth in the individual competition as well as sixth overall in team events. She also was thirty-nineth in the individual event. In 2012, she placed fourth in the individual event as well as ninth overall in team events. She was the final Australian athlete to be selected for in the Olympics in 2012.
