Martynas Pocius (born 28 April 1986) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player who retired. In addition, he played as a part of the Lithuanian national basketball team.

In his freshman year, Pocius appeared in 28 games, scoring 1.5 points as well as 0.3 rebounding within 6.1 minutes. In his sophomore season, Pocius increased his stats by averaging 1.9 scores and 0.6 rebounding in 7.1 minutes across 27 games. All through the season, Pocius was struggling with an ankle injury, due to which he was unable to play in four games. Pocius was undergoing a season-ending procedure at his left foot on January 2008, in his junior season. Because of the surgery, the player only played four games, where he averaged 4-points and 2.3 rebounding in eight minutes. In the final season of his time in the NCAA tournament at Duke, Pocius played 22 games and scored 1.5 points.

In 2010, Pocius made his debut with the Lithuanian men’s national team at the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey, where he was one of the leaders of the team and helped lead them to the bronze medals.

On 27 July 2011 it was announced that Pocius signed a contract with Real Madrid. Despite solid play in the first season with Real Madrid, his game declined in the second season, due to numerous injuries. He won the Copa del Rey de Baloncesto in 2012, and the Liga ACB in 2013. Pocius left Real Madrid in July 2013.

As as a senior, he placed in the top 40 all-around and 12th in shooting guards on Rivals.com and was rated the 55th best prospects (16th in shooters) in Scout.com. Pocius was also selected for the World Select team for the 2005 Nike Hoops Summit, where Pocius scored a game-high twenty points during a game that ended 98-106 against the USA.

Pocius was a student at the famous Holderness School in Plymouth, New Hampshire, where he was a member of the basketball team during his final two years. He graduated from Duke in 2009 with a degree in international comparative studies.
