Veloso is the youngest shooter at the 2014. Summer Youth Olympics, she was just 14 years old. In the Girls 10-meter Air Rifle competition she won the silver medal. She was able to qualify fourth with 415,7 points. At the end of her final race, she scored 207.2 to get her silver medal.

She followed it up by breaking another Games Record en route to winning the gold medal in the Women’s 50m Air Rifle Prone, scoring 621 points, bettering the previous Games Record of 620.7.
