Lattke’s repertoire consists of songs and literature for ensembles dating from Renaissance to the present, oratorios, with a preference for his works by Bach and opera. His debut performance as an Evangelist of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio in 2008 was at the Teatro La Fenice, conducted by Riccardo Chailly. He sang in the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, with the Lebanese National Orchestra in Beirut as well as regularly performing in Bach’s Passions in the Thomanerchor conducted by Thomaskantor Georg Christoph Biller in the Thomaskirche. In his career as a singer, the singer toured Europe as well as in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Russia, Korea, Africa, Central America and the Middle East.

In Pirna, Martin Lattke was seven years old when he got his first instruction in singing. He was a part of the Thomanerchor when he was a child soprano for nine months beginning in the year 1990.
In 1999, he co-founded the Leipzig vocal quartet Calmus in 1999, and together they was on tour in Europe as well as the USA. He was awarded awards at international competitions. The year 2002 was the time he received the scholarship of the German Music Competition. Since 2006, he’s an active member of the ensemble amarcord. Lattke took singing lessons with Gotthold Schwarz, a teacher from Leipzig and completed his the studies of industrial engineers in 2003 and continued his studies in the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig together with Hans-Joachim Beyer. In 2007, he participated in an advanced class in the presence of Peter Schreier and received artistic inspiration to sing the role that is the Evangelist of Bach’s Passions.
Lattke was in 2010 with the ensemble amarcord a winner of the ECHO Klassik for the album “Restless Love”, and in 2012 again for the album “Das Lieben bringt groß Freud”.
