Marianne Frances Saliba (born 16 April 1960) is an Australian politician from Australia. She has served as the Mayor of the City of Shellharbour since 2012. She was an elected part of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly between 1999 and 2007, serving the (now disbanded) electoral district of Illawarra.
In 2012 she was elected to the position of Mayor in 2012 of Shellharbour City and has retained the office. The current mayor is a board member for Local Government NSW and President of the Australian Local Government Women’s Association (ALGWA) NSW.
In 2011, she returned to politics and was elected as Deputy Lord Mayor of The Shellharbour City Council, under Liberal Mayor Kellie Marsh.

Saliba was the child of Alex and May Hudson and was the born in Barrhead, Scotland and migrated to Australia in 1964 along with her parents. She attended St Anne’s College, Dapto and completed Secretarial Studies at Dapto TAFE. She graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree at Wollongong University of Wollongong in 1999. She then was employed by Terry Rumble, former member of Illawarra. She is married to four adopted children: Matthew, Dennis, Sara and Alexandra.
Saliba was the representative of Illawarra in The Labor Party from March 1999 until March 2007. She was a member of numerous caucus, parliamentary, and community committees, as well as various social organisations. Particularly, Marianne was Temporary Chair of Committees (2003-2007) and a member of the NSW Regulation Review Committee (1999- 2003) as well as the The NSW Joint Select Committee for Compensation for Victims (1999-2000) and Vice Chair NSW Legislative Review Committee (2003-2004); NSW Joint Standing Committee on Road Safety (Staysafe) (2003-2005) and the Chairman of the NSW Joint Standing Committee on Election Matters (2004-2007). Marianne resigned from the NSW Parliament at the 2007 election, and the seat was named Shellharbour.
