She was a student at Archbishop O’Leary High School where she was primarily focused on music. After graduation, she was awarded a degree for hair stylists from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. After having two kids, Manna attained a diploma in police Sciences and Distinct honors the year 1995 from the International Correspondence School of Canada. The year 2000 was the time Manna owned and manager at the Maria Manna Etiquette and Finishing School. Manna also operated the spa Maria Manna Life Spa in 2002.
Manna’s first acting role came in 2005’s The Engagement Ring, a film made for television that starred Lainie Kazan as well as Patricia Heaton.
In 2010 Manna produced Vancouver Island’s Got Talent, a talent competition with proceeds funding the Maria Manna Bursary at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, a non-profit organization for children who cannot afford music lessons.

The Canadian military backed her fundraising CD and later she stocked the military aircraft with clothes and medical supplies as well as school equipment.

Maria Manna, (born as Maria Antonia Cocquio; February 26 1961) is a Canadian actor, singer and minister. She is well-known for her time with the title “Klondike Kate” for the years 1999 and 2000. Manna was chosen as a member of the Edmonton Klondike Association to become Edmonton’s Klondike Days Festival Ambassador and Headliner.
The year 1999 was the time that Manna discovered she had an unidentified nodule within her vocal chord. After several attempts at alternative treatments, Manna chose to move to surgery despite the 50 percent possibility of permanent harm to the vocal chords. The procedure involved eliminating the lump. The procedure was found to be effective, expanding Manna’s range from one octave up to three octaves.
Manna was a host and producer on the musical competition Victoria Idol, in 2009, the proceeds of which were donated to PEERS (Prostitute Empowerment Education and Resource Society).
