In 2007, she was playing the 1905-violin built by Riccardo Antoniazzi (it) borrowed to the Fondazione Pro Canale Onlus and Kouznetsova utilized violin bows made in the workshop of Giovanni Lucchi, a bow maker from Italy. The 1st of January, 2008 she performed for the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino New Year’s Day concert and had been studying with Pavel Vernikov and Oleksandr Semchuk (de) at the Fiesole School of Music at the time. In 2008 Kouznetsova played a violin made in 1778 in the Gagliano family of luthiers, on loans from Fiesole School of Music. In the last quarter of 2010 she started playing a bow designed specifically for the violin through Daniel Tobias Navea Vera. In a recital held on 29 September 2010, the customized Navea Vera bow was compared with a bow created by Dominique Peccatte in 1840. On April 9, 2011, she gave a recital at the Museo del Tessuto (it) situated in Prato, Italy.

Maria Kouznetsova (Russian: Mariia Kuznetsova , born on November 1, 1991) is a Russian violinist. In September 2014, Kouznetsova was the winner of the Guang Ya Chengdu International Violin Competition in China.
In 2006, she was awarded in 2006 the International Music Competition Luigi Nono in Venaria Reale in Turin. In February 2007, Kouznetsova won second place at the International Moscow David Oistrakh Violin Competition in the event that the first prize was not given. For her Moscow concert, Kouznetsova performed the 1991-violin designed by Ukrainian Stefan Melnyk. In December 2007, Kouznetsova took part for her first Adriatic Music Competition in Ancona, Italy, winning the European Union of Music Competitions for Youth “Arts for Music Prize” in addition to first place.
In December 2014 Kouznetsova played as part of the “Intercontinental Ensemble” group. By January 2015 she was playing a violin custom-made by Belgian violin maker Fabien Gram (nl). On 6 March 2015 Alexandra Nepomnyashchaya and Kouznetsova played the opening concert of the Zaandijk Pianoforte Festival in the Netherlands. In June 2015 she was scheduled to compete at the XII International Violin Competition Pablo Sarasate in Spain. In 2016 Kouznetsova reached the second round of the Carl Nielsen international music competition held with the Odense Symphony Orchestra in Denmark. During 2017 the Hattori Foundation awarded Kouznetsova a prize along with cellist Jamal Aliyev and other violinists. In 2017 she was awarded “Gold (with distinction)” in the Manhattan International Music Competition.
