Geuer began playing when she was 14, in Irlandesas De Bami and Medicina Oximper in her hometown, Sevilla. She began her senior career at Real Canoe NC when she was 17. From 1984 to 1986, she won three consecutive Liga Femenina title. The next two years were spent in Lugo at CD Xuncas where she was runner up in both the 1987 league as well as the 1987 Copa de la Reina. She then spent four years at BEX Banco Exterior, where she was recruited by the best Spanish players in order to participate in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.
At the age of 19, Geuer made her debut as a player with Spain’s women’s basketball team. Geuer played for the senior team for eight years, 1985-1993, earning a total of 158 caps with 10.9 PPG. She was a participant in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics as well as in three European Championships.
