He was Jena’s top scorer in 2016-17. He averaged 18.1 points per game in 25 Bundesliga games, pulled down 6.4 rebounds, and gave out 3.0 assists per game. He signed with Basket Zaragoza 2002, Spanish Liga ACB to complete the 2017 season. He played in six ACB games, scoring 11.2 points per game while grabbing 6.2 rebounds, and giving out 2.2 assists each outing.

On July 10, 2017, Knight signed with Afyon Belediye of the Turkish Basketball First League. With Afyon, he promoted to the first-tier Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL) after winning the promotion playoffs. He re-signed for the 2018–19 season.

Knight attended West Laurens High School, Dublin, Georgia. He spent one year at the junior colleges Middle Georgia (2009-10) and Chipola (2010). He transferred to Middle Tennessee State University for his sophomore year. Knight played in 68 games during his two years playing for the Blue Raiders (2011-13). He averaged 12.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. As a senior, Knight was awarded All-Sun Belt 1st Team and NABC Division I All-District 24 First Team distinctions.

In 2017, Knight participated in The Basketball Tournament for Blue Zoo, a team of Middle Tennessee alumni. The team lost in the first round of the tournament. The Basketball Tournament is an annual $2 million winner-take-all tournament broadcast on ESPN.
