He won three medals at 1999’s Italian championships: absolute bronze and gold under 23 at the winter of pitch, absolute bronze at national promises, and bronze at absolutes of Pescara. Participate in the Under 23 European Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden. 2008 is the year of his first Olympic Games: he takes part in China at the Olympic Games in Beijing, but he does three qualifying laps. Also in the international arena, he won the European Winter Cup for launches in Split, Croatia.
