Luiz Marcelo de Castro Salles (born February 6, 1978) is a Brazilian former footballer, better known as Marcelo Salles. He is also the assistant manager at Nova Iguacu.
He began his career in Flamengo in 2000. In 2005, he was appointed assistant manager of the first Flamengo team under Joel Santana. He was also Andrade’s assistant in 2009 when the club won the Serie A trophy.
Salles subsequently managed Nova Iguaçu (three stints), Bonsucesso (three stints), Audax Rio, Imperatriz, Portuguesa-RJ, Sampaio Corrêa-RJ and Volta Redonda. In 2019 he returned to Fla, again as an assistant.
