Waldemar Andrzej Fajor, also known as Major, is a Polish activist who was born April 8, 1953. He is the founder of the Orange Alternative movement in Poland.

He started organizing events in 1986. These events were later called the “Orange Alternative.” These events could have hundreds to thousands of participants at once. Major Fydrych’s Orange Alternative was very active in the years 1987, 1988, and 1989. It spread quickly to other Polish cities with Warsaw, Lodz and Wroclaw being the most active. In total, the Orange Alternative organised over 60 street events between 1986 and 1990. Waldemar Fydrych, who distributed sanitary pads for women on the streets in Communist Poland in March 1988 was arrested and sentenced to three months imprisonment by the Court of Justice. After a public uproar and a letter signed by prominent Polish intellectuals, artists, Waldemar Fydrych was released.

In 2013, Major Fydrych and his dwarf graffiti were featured in Brad Finger’s book „Surrealism – 50 Works of Art You Should Know” published by PRESTEL Publishing along with works of such great artists as Artaud, Duchamp, Buñuel, Dali and Picasso.
