Narusova, the widow of Anatoly Sbchak (1937-192000), was a prominent Russian politician and mentor, teacher and teacher to both Vladimir Putin (born in 2000) and Dmitry Medvedev (born in 1981). She is also the mother of Ksenia, a well-known Russian celebrity who is known as a presenter of the reality TV-show Dom-2.
In October 2002, she was elected as a member of Federation Council of Russia. Narusova was a senator representing Bryansk Oblast since 2010. However, she was resigned by Nikolay Demin who was a former governor for Bryansk Oblast. She was elected to the Federation Council of Russia in Tuva Republic in 2016 for a second term.
Narusova became involved in Russian politics after she was elected to State Duma, 1995. She was a member until 2006 of the “Our Home – Russia” faction. Narusova has been a host of the TV-show “Freedom of speech” at St. Petersburg branch of RTR since 2000.

Lyudmila Borosovna Narusova (Russian: Liudmila Narusova, born 2 mai 1951) is an Russian politician and member of the Federation Council of Russia. She represents Tuva. She represented Bryansk Oblast at the Federation Council of Russia from 2010 to 2012.
Narusova was born in Bryansk in Russian SFSR and Soviet Union. She is the daughter of Borish Narusovich (a Jewish Platoon Commander in the Red Army, a lieutenant in the Komsomol) and a Russian mother. Later, she was named the Director of the Bryansk School for the Deaf. She studied history at Saint Petersburg State University from 1969 to 1974. In 1977-1980, she was a graduate student at the Institute of History of USSR Academy of Sciences. She also worked at Saint Petersburg State University. She married Anatoly Sokochak in 1980. She received her Ph.D. in History (Russian: Kandidat Nauk ). She then taught history at St. Petersburg Academy of Culture.
In 2013 Narusova was expelled from the Fair Russia party. However, she later claimed she had never formally been a member of a party.
