Lynn Breedlove is one of the most popular and richest Film Director who was born on June 13, 1965 in Oakland, California, United States. Breedlove, a queer founder and lead singer in the San Francisco dyke-punk band Tribe 8, is Breedlove. Pigbitch was the band’s first single. It was released by Harp Records, which Gina Harp managed in 1991. In 1992 Outpunk released the second single, “There’s a Dyke in the Pit”, which featured Bikini Kill and 7 Year Bitch. Later releases were made by Alternative Tentacles. The band also appeared in A Gun For Jennifer. They also performed in She’s Real and Worse Than Queer and Rise Above: A Tribe 8 Documentary directed by Tracy Flannigan.

Breedlove has been hosting Gender Pirates since 2004. This monthly benefit is for the group United Genders of the Universe San Francisco. She also hosts the Unka Lynnee Show (formerly the Unka Lynnee & Aunty Cindy Show) on Pirate Cat Radio. She also teaches Unka Lynnee’s Skool4 Boyz at the Harvey Milk Institute. On Our Backs published the column “Uncle Lynnee’s Skool For Bois” for two years. Velvet Park Magazine published it twice as “Unka Lynnee’s Skool4 Boyz”.

In May 2013, Breedlove appeared on Music Life Radio discussing Tribe 8, and Homobiles, the new LGBTQ ride sharing non-profit service founded by Breedlove in San Francisco.

In 2015, Breedlove returned to playing music with the emergence of his new band, The Homobiles, billed as a “queer-punk supergroup,” with Ed Varga, founder of Homo A Gogo, songwriter Mya Byrne, Fureigh (former guitarist for The Shondes), Stephany Ashley (executive director of St. James Infirmary Clinic), and Corrie Bennett.

St. Martin’s Press published Breedlove’s 2002 novel Godspeed in 2002. The main character of the book is a methamphetamine-using bicycle messenger named Jim. Breedlove’s addiction years are said to have influenced the main character. The novel was translated into German in 2007 and published under the title Gotterspeed auf Mox und Moritz.
