Luiz Henrique (born July 31, 1996) is a professional Brazilian baseball pitcher with the Los Angeles Angels. He was previously a Major League Baseball (MLB), player for the Atlanta Braves.

Gohara was first called up to the majors on September 5, 2017. He was 1-3 in five starts with a 4.91 ERA. Gohara was not able to attend spring training 2018 and was assigned to the Gwinnett Stripers, April 28. Gohara was recalled for the first time in the 2018 season on May 8 and returned to the minor leagues the following month. Gohara was called up again in July 2018 but was sent down prior to the All-Star Game. The remainder of the season he spent at the minor league level and was then placed on the 60 day disabled list in September. Gohara was a participant in spring training before the 2019 season and was assigned to Gwinnett Stripers on March.

On August 28, 2019, Gohara signed a minor league deal with the Los Angeles Angels.

Gohara mysteriously did not pitch in the early part of 2019, but it was revealed in late July that he had an arthroscopic procedure on his shoulder to alleviate soreness that he experienced since spring training. No significant tissue damage was discovered. He was designated for assignment on July 31, 2019 to make room for newly acquired Shane Greene. Gohara was released on August 2.

He is of Japanese descent and is from Brazil. Born to Luiz Gohara and Maria Gohara in Tupa (Sao Paulo), he was raised. His father, a Japanese professional baseball player, died in December 2017 at the age 58.
