Louie Spicolli is one of the most popular and richest Wrestler who was born on February 10, 1971 in San Pedro, California, United States. Louis Mucciolo Jr., born February 10, 1971 and died February 15, 1998 was an American professional wrestler. He was known as Madonna’s boyfriend in Mexico and was a member of the World Wrestling Federation under Rad Radford. In Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, and World Championship Wrestling during the 1990s, he was Louie Spicolli. Sometimes he is credited with inventing the Death Valley driver finisher. He even wore T-shirts for WCW declaring it. Others claim it was created by Joshi wrestler Etsuko Mia.

Mucciolo started training with Bill Anderson at the age of 17. They met at a Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena wrestling show. Mucciolo made his debut in 1988 at the age of 17, as a jobber with the World Wrestling Federation. He used the ring name Louie Spicolli in squash matches, and he would keep this name until March 1995. He lost to many top WWF stars in his occasional appearances, but he did win two victories in 1993 against The White Knight (actually his trainer Bill Anderson) as well as The Lightning Kid. On March 13, 1995, he defeated Greg Davis. This was his last appearance before he was repackaged.

In 1996, Spicolli was found unconscious by a neighbor after overdosing on Soma and suffering a seizure. He was in intensive care for several days before making a recovery. The WWF, still mindful of the controversy that the steroid trials a few years back had brought, released him on the condition that he would not work for the rival WCW promotion for a year.

Spicolli had stopped taking drugs after renewed fears for his health, but the news that his mother was terminally ill with cancer led to a relapse. On February 15, 1998, Spicolli died at the age of 27 after overdosing on Soma and wine, choking on his own vomit in his sleep. Investigators found an empty vial of the male hormone testosterone, pain pills and an anxiety-reducing drug. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office determined the drugs might have contributed to his heart condition.

The WWF repackaged Spicolli in April 1995 as “Rad Radford”, an ardent fan of grunge and purportedly Courtney Love’s boyfriend. He worked an angle with the Bodydonnas, wanting to join (despite his comparatively poorly toned body) and was eventually admitted as a “Bodydonna-in-training”. He continued this until Survivor Series when he was thrown from the group due to his inadequacies. Radford was more successful than Spicolli, with him rarely winning over other talent.

Spicolli struggled with depression before joining Extreme Championship Wrestling in July 1996 as a face. He later turned heel and feuded with Tommy Dreamer. He left the company on bad terms after owner Paul Heyman discovered that he had been covertly negotiating with both WCW and WWF.
