Louie is one of the most popular and richest Rapper who was born on April 30, 1990 in Andong, North Gyeongsang, South Korea. King Louie was born Louis King Johnson Jr. on the Eastside in Chicago, Illinois, December 27, 1987. Before graduating from an alternative school, he attended Hyde Park Academy High School.

King Louie signed with Epic Records in 2012 while on a trip to Los Angeles. Kanye West’s label GOOD Music released a remix by Chief Keef, a Chicago rapper. West made a point to mention many other artists during the release. King Louie later said that he was surprised and didn’t know that West was a fan. Later, he would appear on West’s Yeezus performing a verse as well as the hook to the song “Send It up”. He survived being shot in the head in Chicago, December 23, 2015.

His career was halted when he was struck by a car. After his injuries healed, he was admitted to hospital with his legs and other injuries. He had to learn how to walk again. Later, he returned to music and released a number of mixtapes which he made freely available online. His songs were regularly airplayed, with the exception of his song “Too Cool”, which was in regular rotation on WGCI-FM. King Louie created a series music videos to promote his mixtapes. His first video was for I’m Arrogant, the lead track on his 2010 mixtape, Man Up, Band Up. He soon gained a large fan base and released more music videos. He was one of the most prominent Chicago rappers, thanks to his YouTube promotion.
