Elizabeth Clegg MBE, a Scottish Paralympic Sprinter was born 24 March 1990 and has represented Great Britain and Scotland at international events. She represented Great Britain at the T12 100m, 200m and T12 100m Paralympics 2008. She also won a silver medal in T12 100m. At the 2016 Paralympic Games, she won Gold in Rio in 100m T11, breaking the world record and the T11 200m record, becoming a double Paralympic champion.

Clegg won silver at the London Paralympics on 2 September 2012 in the T12 100m. Clegg and guide Mikail Huggins broke the European record in the final.

In June 2012, Clegg won the 100m and 200m at the IPC Athletics European Championships.

She competed at the IPC World Championships in January 2011. She won a bronze medal in the 200m. Clegg, a Paralympic silver medallist, is currently the World Champion in both the T12 100m- and 200m sprints. Clegg was a major success story at the 2011 IPC World Championships, New Zealand, and the IBSA World Championships, Turkey.
