Lee Dorrian is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on June 5, 1968 in Coventry, England, United Kingdom. Lee Dorrian (born 5 June 1968) is an English singerwho is best known for being a former band member in Napalm Death and later frontman of Cathedral.

The year 1995 was the first time Dorrian was a collaborator together with Italian singer-songwriter Paul Chain, with whom he co-wrote four songs that were featured on the album. He was a vocalist and lyricist on the extreme doom band Teeth of Lions Rule the Divine, which included musicians from Sunn O))) and Iron Monkey, releasing the single album ‘Rampton’ in 2002. He also performed as a guest on the Probot album that was produced by his former buddy and fellow Nirvana musician Dave Grohl.

Dorrian is currently a member of With the Dead, in which he is joined by former Electric Wizard bassist Tim Bagshaw, along with former Cathedral bassist Leo Smee and former Bolt Thrower drummer Alex Thomas. Their self- titled debut album was released on Rise Above Records in October 2015.

In 1989 Dorrian created the doom metal group Cathedral and released their debut album, Forest of Equilibrium in the year 1991. The album is regarded as to be a true cult classic and is a keystone for the development of the doom metal genre. Cathedral was a band for more than 23 years before taking a decision to break up for the day in the year 2012 prior to their final album, The Last Spire in the year 2013. Through their lengthy time in the business, they performed as primary support for Black Sabbath on their Cross Purposes tour in 1994. In the process, the band became friends with Tony Iommi, which led to him appearing on a unusual appearance on the album of Cathedral in

In 1987, he was a the vocalist and lyricist for Napalm Death and recorded two albums in their band, including the second album of Scum and the entire Between Enslavement and Obliteration album. While with the band they were heavily endorsed by John Peel and recorded two sessions for his Radio One show. The group also made important TV appearances BBC shows like Snub TV, Arena and children’s show What’s That Sound? They were also featured on the cover of NME which served as the source of inspiration for the lyrics for the song called “No Mental Effort”. The track is on Dorrian’s final record along with Napalm Death as part of The Mentally Murdered EP. In conjunction with the release in 1989, his friend Peel was instrumental in arranging the band’s appearance for the Reading Festival. However, the show had to be cancelled due to Dorrian quit the group after disillusionment with the band’s tour in Japan in the month of July the year.

While still part in Napalm Death, Dorrian founded his own label Rise Above Records in 1988. It was initially conceived as a way to lift him off the slack, Rise Above was kick-started in the Enterprise Allowance Scheme. His primary objective was the release of a couple of extreme punk seven” singles in very limited quantities to have enjoyment. But Rise Above went from upwards and upwards and is now one of the most admired independent labels that are underground currently in existence. A few of the bands Dorrian has introduced to the world through Rise Above Records include Ghost, Electric Wizard, Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats, Circulus, Blood Ceremony and numerous others.

He presented an award to Napalm Death at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards 2007.
