The 2010 Winter Paralympics Woolstencroft won five gold medals in Giant Slalom, Slalom, Super-G, Downhill Skiing, and Super Combined. She was one of the few Canadian to earn three gold medals during this same Winter Paralympics, this total was later increased to five golds. With her fourth Gold medal she assisted Canada achieve the record for many gold medals won at the Winter Paralympic Games by winning the seventh gold medal. The previous record was six golds, set in 2002’s Salt Lake City Paralympics. With her fifth silver medal in gold, she established the record for the most gold medals awarded by any Winter Paralympian at a single Games and also set the record for the highest gold medal hauls of anyone Canadian Paralympian at a single Games and tied Chantal Petitclerc (who had the honor two times) as well as Stephanie Dixon, both Summer Paralympians. Five gold medals are the highest record of any Canadian Winter Paralympian or Olympian.
