She made her film debut alongside Gracy Singh in the Hindi crime drama Gangaajal (2003).

Redkar is best known for her super hit popular Marathi song Kombdi palali, tangdi dharun ….langadi ghalaya laagli opposite Bharat Jadhav in the popular 2006 Marathi film Jatra, with music by Ajay-Atul. Ajay and Atul used the tune of the song Kombdi Palali … from Jatra for the song Chikani Chameli in the 2012 Hindi film Agneepath.

Redkar played Mother Teresa as a three-year-old in school, she scarcely envisioned that she would later act in a film about her. In 2014 she played Deepa Ambereesh in The Letters, a biographical drama film about Mother Teresa.
