Kavka Shishido is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on June 23, 1985 in Mexico City, Mexico. Shishido was born in Mexico in 1985 to Japanese parents. She was there until she reached the age of two, after which she moved to Japan to attend elementary school. Between the ages 13 and 14 Shishido resided in Argentina. She was able to learn Spanish to be able to use it in everyday life, but upon returning to Japan lost it because she was without anyone to play with. At the age of 14, Shishido became inspired to pick up drums after watching the live show on television. She was fascinated by the notion that drummers were the “unsung hero” of the band, when she noticed that the camera’s focus was not at the drummer. She was taught the fundamentals of drumming when she was 14 with the help of Daniel “Pipi” Piazzolla, an accomplished drummer, and the grandson of tango artist Astor Piazzolla.

In Eddy12, Shishido was scouted by a record label for her start her solo career. The company scouted her before she began playing the drums in her performance, but she incorporated the drums back into discussions about how to differentiate herself apart from the other artists. She quit The News in 2009, but she continued to work alongside her Eddy12 groupmates, who serve as producers. Shishido debuted with Imperial Records with the digital single “Day Dream Rider” in May 2012. In the years since, Shishido has came out with three physical tracks: “Aisuru Kakugo”, “Music” and “Kiken na Futari”. The latter was also used as the theme song for the opening in”Futari no Keiji,” a TV Asahi drama Doubles: Futari no Keiji. Shishido has released her first album, Kavkanize, on September 4th on the 4th of September, 2013. The album was released in February 2014. Shishido was the first to perform a Japanese tour following she released her debut single “Wagamama”/”Miss. Me” Me”.

Since her debut as a musician, Shishido has worked as a runway model. She has participated in the Kobe Collection 2012, Tokyo Runway in 2012 and 2013, Laforet Fashion Week 2012, and Fukuoka Asia Collection 2013. Shishido made her acting debut in the live action film adaptation of Ai Ore! in 2012. Shishido debuted as a radio personality in 2013, and has radio shows on All Night Nippon and Bay FM. Shishido also became the drummer for the house band on the KinKi Kids’ variety show Shin Dōmoto Kyōdai in 2013. In 2014 she joined the second season of the Erika Sawajiri drama First Class, as fashion designer Namie Kawashima. Since October 21, 2018 Shishido Kavka and Santiago Vazquez invite several musicians to an improvised presentation called “el tempo”, which interacts with the public through hand signals, inspired by the events “LA BOMBA DE TIEMPO” and “LA GRANDE” that have been taking place since 2006 in Buenos Aires, where she grew up.

Shishido appeared in her debut nationwide commercial featuring Glico’s food snack Pretz that was launched in February of 2013. The commercial features Shishido playing the drums at the Strahov Monastery library in Prague.

Yuna Shishido (Rou Hu You Ming , Shishido Yuna, born on 23 June 1985) is a solo artist under her stage title Kavka Shishido (shishidokahuka , Shishido Kafuka known by Japan in Japan as SHISHIDO KAVKA) is a Japanese vocalist and drummer. She was a part of the band The News, she debuted as a solo performer in 2012 before releasing the debut album Kavkanize in 2013. She plays drums in all her performances.

Shishido began singing herself with her own voice at the age of 20. In 2004 Shishido was a part of the female-only duo The News as their third drummer. The band formed in 2005. Shishido began working together with The High-Lows’ drummer Kenji Ohshima as well as Uverworld producer Satoru Hiraide. The trio formed the band Eddy12 (stylized as Eddy12) with them. In this time, Shishido started to perform in her own style, playing her drums while singing.

In September, it was announced that Shishido had switched labels to the newly created Justa Music, a sub-label of Avex Group, and would star in the second series of Erika Sawajiri fashion drama First Class. Her first release under the label is the song “Don’t Be Love” featuring veteran singer-songwriter Kazuyoshi Saito, and will be used as the theme song of the 2015 Fuji Television drama Isha-tachi no Ren’ai Jijō. This song also serves as the leading track from K, a special extended play where Shishido will collaborate with five different musicians, released in June 2015.
