Catherine Malloy Hollern (born 12 April 1955) is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of the Parliament (MP) in the constituency of Blackburn since 2015.

On the 10th of October, 2016 Hollern was named as Shadow Minister in the Department of Communities and Local Government. On July 17, 2017, she was appointed Private Secretary to Parliament for Jeremy Corbyn, Leader of the Opposition.

On 7 January 2016, Hollern was appointed Shadow Minister for Reserves, outside the Shadow Cabinet following the resignation of Kevan Jones.

Hollern served as Shadow Minister for the Armed Forces from January 2016 to October 2016, following the reshuffle of the Shadow Cabinet, and resignation of Kevan Jones. She has served as Shadow Minister for Communities and Local Government since October 2016.

The election took place in March 2014. Hollern got selected by a shortlist of all women, to succeed the former Cabinet Minister Jack Straw as Labour’s candidate in the constituency of Blackburn. The election was held at the time of the 2015 General Election.
